  This place is so awesome. I stumbled upon it when I was looking for a quick lunch. Most of their lunch combos are $9.75, but they have slightly more upscaled offerings for $12.99 too.
  - An amazing value
  - They come with side ban chans
  - A side soup (broth is amazing, radish, onion, garlic, fish cake flavors shine thru)
  - They also sell stuff ala carte.
  - Service is so kind / hospitable
  
  So my most recent visit hilast week, I ordered the spicy squid stir fry. Feeling quite sure of myself I stupidly asked for it extra spicy. Well they took me at my word and it came out like as if ghost peppers were hibernating in the sauce!
  - OMG my tongue was burning, I was dripping w sweat on my forehead
  - The place seemed really hot b/c I was OVERHEATING
  
  The waitress was so kind to me.
  - She got me extra non-spicy ban chan
  - She refilled my soup
  - She brought me a ton of napkins to wipe my sweat
  
  I was able to finish the meal, but oh boy did I feel it the next day!
  Note to self:  DON'T ASK FOR EXTRA SPICY!
  
  Anyways, so far I love...
  - Perilla leaf kimbap (ketnip is what is called)
  - Janchi Guksoo (a celebration noodle soup dish loaded w kimchi, zucchini, fried tofu skins, etc. with an amazing anchovy broth)
  
  I have purchased to go the bulgogi kimbap and inari sushi (tofu skins). Not as good as the ketnip kimbap.
  
  Bring your own cup, their water cups are child sized (2-3 sips). Or fill 2 with water.
  
  Ban chans are of course refillable.
  
  LOVE THIS PLACE.
  Very consistently great food!
  Portions lean on generous. On most combo's the reduce the soup-noodle size, but not this place, they keep it full sized!

  I purchased their packaged kimchi kimbop.   I didn't realize that you had to pay it their on the spot.  They should let people know.  I took it to the front thinking I could pay for it along with my groceries.  Nope.  The cashier made a comment in Korean which I didn't appreciate.  So I took my packaged kimbop back to the back to pay while the cashier held my paid groceries hostage.  
  
  Got home and couldn't wait to eat it.  Took a bite and the kimchi was old.  Will never buy anything from there again.

  My favorite Gimbap place in K-town! Good prices, fresh ingredients and, most importantly, little rice make me a repeat customer. I like going there in person because I love California Market and I can get grocery shopping done (this place is at the back of California Market) or grab my iced americano at coffee bean, which is also in California Market.
  
  Parking is free in their attached parking structure and there's also so many cute stores in the mall.

  We were in Koreatown in LA and my mom wanted to eat at this place. She says the kimbab and the banquet noodles are good here. So that is what we had: kimbab and banquet noodles. This place is next to the opera house bakery. Our kimbab was tuna kimbab and kimchi kimbab. Other than the kimbab, and the noodles, the kimchi and the yellow raddish that came out as banchans were pretty good too. The banquet noodles were small sized and it was not the regular size. But the portions were pretty big and I got full when I finished it. The noodle makes you all warm inside. The kimbab was good too. Thr kimchi kimbab was a bit better than the tuna one.
  It came out to be 20 bucks. Not bad but It would have been better if it was cheaper. I saw previous menu, and the meals were cheaper before.
  Oh well, K town food is supposed to be expensive, so I'm okay with it.

  Solid Korean food.  Not fancy. Not fine dining. So, the stars are for great value. Portions are huge, easily enough for two, especially the noodle and gimbap combos. If eating scrunched into a noisy, crowded corner is unappealing, take it to go and   eat on the roof by the mostly closed food court.
  
  We've had the banquet noodles, which are good, if a little bland, the tuna gimpap, which I crave all the time, and the spicy squid, which my husband loved, but I found tasty, but a little greasy.
  
  We are not Korean, but ordering was not difficult. Someone around always helps
